Celebrating Inclusion at the 2025 Disability Inclusion Awards

Last week, Somerville Community Services was proud to support the 2025 Disability Inclusion Awards, recognising the incredible individuals and organisations leading the way in creating a more inclusive Northern Territory.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners who are making a difference every day through their innovation, commitment, and care.

We were especially delighted to present the Inclusive Communities Award, which went to Emma Bobby from Sticky Fingers Kitchen.

As chef and founder of Sticky Fingers Kitchen, Emma has created a vibrant and inclusive cooking school where everyone can thrive. Through tailored programs and adaptive tools, she’s helping student chefs develop skills, confidence, and a true sense of belonging.

A big thank you also goes to our category finalists — NT Major Events Company and Miyalk Kitchen from the Community Development Program by ALPA — for their outstanding contributions to inclusion and accessibility across the Territory.
