Find us at the Darwin Disability Expo – Friday 16 May 2025

At Somerville, we believe in a community where everyone is seen, valued, and supported to live life their way. That’s why we’re proud to be part of the upcoming Darwin Disability Expo—a free community event that champions choice, control, and inclusion for people of all abilities in the Northern Territory.

This expo is more than just an information day. It’s a space where people can explore what services and supports are available locally, ask questions, and make decisions that suit their unique needs and goals. It’s a place for conversations, for connection, and for celebrating the diversity that strengthens our community.

Visitors to the expo will be able to enjoy interactive “come and try” activities—including wheelchair basketball, rugby, AFL, dance, chess, craft, and more.

There’ll also be sensory-friendly stations, face painting, free food, and plenty of fun for all ages.

Just as importantly, the event features presentations that promote inclusion, accessibility, and equity—values that are at the heart of Somerville’s work every day. Whether it’s through disability services, financial counselling, housing support, or advocacy, we’re committed to walking alongside people in ways that empower and uplift.

Admission is completely free because equity should never come with a price tag. We invite you to join us at the expo, meet our team, and see how we can support you or someone you care for in living a life of dignity, connection, and purpose.
