Kadek Knight takes out national award at the inaugural Attendant Care Industry Awards in 2016
The inaugural Attendant Care Industry Awards held on 15th September 2016 saw Somerville’s Kadek Knight receive the national Rights and Responsibilities Award. Kadek is from Katherine and is a Disability Support Worker.
Without the care and support of attendant care support workers, many people would not be able to participate in the community, education, employment and live their lives in a manner of their choosing.
The Attendant Care Industry Awards were created to acknowledge the dedication and professionalism of attendant care support workers in the disability, aged care and community sectors.
They also provide an opportunity for peers to acknowledge their co-workers’ outstanding service provision. Congratulations Kadek!
