2018 NT Young Achiever Awards

Somerville would like to congratulate Phoebe Hooper, winner of the NT Young Achievers Somerville Community Service Award.

Somerville would like to congratulate Phoebe Hooper, winner of the NT Young Achievers Somerville Community Service Award. Phoebe is from Katherine and pushes for inclusion and awareness for the LGBTQIA community.

Also volunteering for a variety of community programs, and recently started his own non-profit, “Keep talking NT”.  Phoebe often funds the organisation’s Rural Pride events himself, and has raised $1,000 for the Headspace facility opening in Katherine.

Phoebe strives to expand Keep talking NT’s activities to further the wellbeing of the wider community across the Territory.

Somerville would also like to congratulate all of the other category winners and the overall winner – Northern Territory Young Achiever of the Year
