National Families Week Sensory Play Party 2016
As part of National Families Week, Somerville hosted a family a sensory play party in Goyder Square Palmerston in celebration of “Stronger Families, Stronger Communities.”
The event saw children and their family members participate in a number of relationship building activities while enjoying refreshments and entertainment. The event promoted further awareness of Somerville’s variety of supportive services available to children and families as well as creating a sense of connectedness amongst the participants and the larger community.
A big thank you to all the volunteers and staff who helped to organise and run the event.
