Supporting students and encouraging leadership at Kormilda College
Each year Somerville encourages and supports the students of Kormilda College to develop leadership skills and serve their community. For many years Somerville has offered the Somerville Leadership and Community Service Award to outstanding students in these areas.
Kormilda College recently held their end of year award night, which acknowledges the achievements of students and farewells graduates. The Somerville Leadership and Community Service Award was announced on the night.
This year’s recipient, Manual Lemos, is described as an enthusiastic participant in many activities around the college and in the wider community. One of his major tasks has been organising funds for Hope Familia orphanage in Timor Leste.
Somerville very is proud to support Kormilda College and offer a big congratulations to Manual.
